Hong Kong’s First Wind Turbine
Well done Hong Kong electric… after years of burning coal to provide HK massive electric consumption needs, Hong Kong Electric Company has finally started on the road to renewable non-polluting energy. A massive 70m wind turbine is nearing completion on of all places Lamma Island and once in operation will add a whopping 800-kW of energy, enough to power about 1600 average households.
