LAW OF THIRDS
The first thing to know when wanting to take better pictures. Well the first thing I always tell people is to never center the subject in the frame. Move Left, or right, up or down, just not in the center. Try it with any subject and see. It is called the LAW OF THIRDS and is the first rule of composition.
